Yesterday it was confirmed that the Maleficent actress had tied the knot with her long-term partner Brad Pitt on Saturday in France. Since the news broke, the one big question was: what did she wear?
The dress, however, is yet to be seen, but according to E!, an unrevealed source has said that the 39-year-old Maleficent actress wore a white gown on the big day. It was described as: "Very traditional, but very Angie, it was comfortable but plain white floor-length antique lace and silk.
“She definitely wore something that once belonged to Marcheline Bertrand [her mother]; a small gold locket with a photo of her mom inside it.”
The source also confirmed she wore a veil and when "Brad lifted it [he] gasped because she looked so stunning." Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in Mr and Mrs Smith
The designer has yet to be confirmed, but suspicions point out that she may have worn her favourite designer, Versace. Jolie has been a loyal fan of the Italian fashion house for a while now and often wears its creations on the red carpet, so it wouldn’t be a surprise that she had trust Donatella on this one.
The source also said that the wedding rings, carried by their children Shiloh and Knox, "were designed by their good friend Robert Procop," who helped Pitt designed Jolie’s stunning engagement ring too.
Their six children were in the ceremony and according to E!’s source the sons wore cream linen suits that matched with their father’s tuxedo, while the daughters each had a dress made for their individual styles.
