“A few names have been mentioned as her co-star, including Kristen Stewart, Annalynne McCord and Leighton Meester – but Michelle is pushing for Cara,” a source told The Sun.
Delevingne, whose acting portfolio includes small roles in 2012’s Anna Karenina and forthcoming films Kids in Love and The Face of an Angel, is undoubtedly a weaker candidate, however she has been praised previously by director Michael Winterbottom for having “natural acting talent.”

Rather than questioning the accuracy of said reports, we have started a healthy debate on which of the two best friends should play Thelma, the passive housewife who ends up shooting a man trying to rape her, or Louise, the punchy waitress and leader of the duo. Our bets are on Cara as Thelma – perhaps because we’ve already seen her play the housewife on the Victoria’s Secret runway? – and Michelle as the wiser friend, as the actress is some 14 years older than 21-year-old Cara.
