As a member of the Kardashian clan, Kendall Jenner is no stranger to designer wares and camera flashes, which stood her in good stead last night as she took her first catwalk steps to becoming known in her own right as a model.

Impressively, her first proper runway experience was courtesy of Marc Jacobs, who brought New York Fashion Week to a close with his first own-label show since stepping down from the helm of Louis Vuitton.
“I just recently turned 18, so this [Marc Jacobs show] is my big kick-off to start and grow my career,” Jenner told Into The Gloss backstage at the show.

“The New York fashion scene is crazy, madness, but I love the energy. I love everything about it-like the hair and make-up today, it’s incredible. I’ve never had my eyebrows bleached; I don’t even look like myself!”
She took to the cloud-adorned catwalk in a sheer top, pale make-up and a blunt bobbed wig.
The budding super was signed up by Wilhelmina modelling agency aged just 15, before defecting to The Society Management agency in November last year, where she is joined by posing heavyweights Liu Wen, Adriana Lima, Tao Okamoto and Lindsey Wixson.

She’s previously expressed her wishes to have a career outside of the reality bubble that envelops the rest of her female family – half-sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney, younger sister Kylie and mother Kris.
“I don’t think some people take me very seriously,” she told V magazine last year. “When I started off, I was way more of a personality in modelling and it wasn’t like, what I wanted to be exactly.”
No doubt her future brother-in-law, fashion lover Kanye West, will be very pleased with her high-fashion arrival.
