As the last show of the day and with glasses of champagne served by sleekly-suited waiters, there was something of a party atmosphere before the first look was even shown. When it arrived, a sleek stripped back gown, sexily slit to the thigh, the excitement only increased.
This collection nailed party dressing – from shift shape dresses trimmed with pearls to ornate brocades of gold and fuchsia and even beautifully cut, tuxedo-inspired tailoring.
