At the age of 15, a streaky-haired Nicole Richie was most likely plotting her path to stardom with best friend Paris Hilton. It’s fair to say that Nicole’s younger half-sister, Sofia (the girls share Lionel Richie as a father figure) has not expressed the same ambition. Rather, the young Richie has skipped the embarrassing TV stint and made a smooth transition into the world of fashion, which is also now Nicole’s passion.

Snapped up by Teen Vogue US last autumn, Sofia’s modelling skills did not go unnoticed. LA-based swimwear line Mary Grace Swim came a’knocking and cast the youngster as the face of their new look book.
