PR executive Lynn Tesoro filed a $1 million lawsuit against Jalou publishing house president Marie-José Susskind-Jalou and her daughters Jennifer Eymere and Vanessa Bellugeon of Jalouse and L’Officiel magazines after Eymere slapped her following an argument about where the family would be seated for the show.

All three were charged with assault and slander, while Eymere was additionally sued for libel. Following the incident, Eymere told WWD : “It was a small slap. It was not strong. I didn’t hurt her, it was just to humiliate her. She humiliated my mom, and I humiliated her in front of her crew. Voilà. I just said at the end, ‘Now you know you don’t f–k with French people.'”
Details of the settlement have not been disclosed, although it is believed that Tesoro received an apology as part of the agreement.
