The US media appears to becoming increasingly disillusioned with the Kardashians.

Rolling Stone magazine, which is a respected publication within the arts world, is the latest to publish a damming report against the reality stars.

The article that describes the women as having ‘gargantuan egos’ comes just days after GQ US hit out at their British counterpart for naming Kim their Woman Of The Year.

GQ US was not happy

Entitled ‘The Kardashians: The Egos That Ate America’, writer Rob Sheffield states “Their vanity is impervious to the outside world, which is how many of us often wish our own personal vanity worked.”

He continues: “They do not learn, grow, mature, suffer, any of that HBO Sunday-night business. They do, however, take pole-dancing classes.”

The crushing piece concludes: “The ongoing Kardashian saga has turned into the rise and where-the-hell-is-that-fall of an American-family empire, bigger than U.S. Steel.”

Tide is turning

Blimey, someone’s not a fan of the brunette beauties, are they?

They aren’t the only ones who are jumping on the tide which is turning on the family.

Twitter users took to social media in their droves to complain about Kim winning the coveted award for GQ UK.

It's Gentlemen's Quarterly. And, wrong GQ. RT @stevecook_32: @GQMagazine names Kim Kardashian woman of the year! sMH GQ=Goodbye Quality

And remarkably GQ US  were quick to distance themselves from their sister mag.

When someone tweeted: ‘@GQMagazine names Kim Kardashian woman of the year! sMH GQ=Goodbye Quality’, they retweeted it writing: ‘

It’s Gentlemen’s Quarterly. And, wrong GQ.’

Good morning, citizens of the UK. We’re still GQ US, and we still gave no awards. Congratulations on the new royal baby, though.

Clearly exasperated with receiving tweets, they definitely wrote: “Good morning, citizens of the UK. We’re still GQ US, and we still gave no awards. Congratulations on the new royal baby, though.”

Fortunately as Rolling Stone states, the reality TV family are rather self obsessed and are no doubt oblivious to the backlash. Phew.
