Lovebirds: Mark and Michelle are getting married in 2015
Mark Wright has admitted that he was “a bit of a party boy” when he appeared on The Only Way Is Essex but has now claimed that after meeting Michelle Keegan, he’s become a man.
"I was only 23 when I did TOWIE and a bit of a party boy. I was still growing up. I would sleep in late and go out at night,” he said.
"But I always wanted to grow up and marry a woman that I love and respect then have kids.
"That chapter of my life is beginning. I guess I’m a man now."

Mark, 27, was once engaged to his TOWIE co-star and on-off girlfriend of 10 years Lauren Goodger but has since moved on with Michelle and the showbiz couple have moved in with each other but the reality star claims that their hectic schedules have ruined their time together in recent weeks.
"It’s been so great living together but then Strictly started and everything went crazy. We’ve been taken away from each other a little bit,” he told The Sun.
"But Strictly is finishing at Christmas, as is the TV drama she’s working on, so we’re going to take January off, relax and get ready for next year’s wedding."
Mark Wright admitted he was terrified by the thought of his first dance when he weds Michelle Keegan next year.
Mark is learning some moves on Strictly
But since the former TOWIE star has been taking part on Strictly Come Dancing, his fancy footwork has improved dramatically, and now he’s planning a "crowd-pleaser" on his big day.
The Essex hunk and former Coronation Street actress Michelle have bonded with his dance partner Karen Hauer, who is also marrying Strictly professional Kevin Clifton next year, and the couples have been swapping tips.
Karen, 32, exclusively told Mirror Celeb: "We always tend to talk about wedding plans, I always ask a lot of questions because they’re a bit further on than we are.
"We’ve met Michelle quite a few times, both Kevin and I, and hopefully we’re choreographing their first dance, that will be really nice.
"We’ve said if they do well, they can choreograph ours as well. They want it to be as romantic as possible but at the same time very crowd-pleasing. They want a couple of lifts, I was like, ‘You have to practice a lift with me first’."
This news excites us, we can imagine them doing a Dirty Dancing sequence with Mark lifting Michelle into the air like Patrick Swayze, but we’ll just have to wait and find out.
Mark’s Strictly experience was almost cut short at the weekend when he found himself in the bottom two but Karen insists they are working hard after they were kept in the competition.
She admits he does get frustrated at the beginning of every week when he’s trying to learn new moves but he soon calms down and gets excited about the live show.

Karen said: "We have a laugh in training but he gets frustrated a lot and starts shouting, usually on Monday and Tuesday, not at me but he does shout. He gets really upset at himself. But Wednesday and Thursday come and he’s happy again.
"It’s good to keep it friendly and happy, there’s a lot of pressure, we need to be emotionally lifted."
Meanwhile, Karen can’t wait for her own big day after Kevin, 32, popped the question on stage on her birthday last April and she has already chosen her wedding dress.
She revealed: "I actually do have my dress already, it’s the first thing I got and I was really excited about it.
"The wedding is going to be some time in the middle of the year, I’ve done two things off the whole list. I have a lot more to do. Hopefully Michelle will give me a few tips."
