Pixie Geldof attends as Ambassador Barzun, Mrs Brooke Barzun and Alexandra Shulman celebrate London Fashion Week
Pixie Geldof is set to follow in her father’s footsteps as she has signed a record and publishing deal.
The 24-year-old, who’s father is The Boomtown Rats Sir Bob Geldof, shared the exciting news via social media, with a picture of herself surrounded by the Stranger Records team.
She captioned the image, which sees her wearing a Seventies style dress: “Last night I signed to @StrangerRecords lets do this!”
This isn’t the first time Pixie has made a foray into music – she was previously the forntwoman of the band Violet.
Pixie’s record news comes nearly a year after her sister Peaches’ tragic death last April, during which time she has made few public appearances.
Earlier this year an inquest heard that Peaches, the 25-year-old TV presenter daughter of rocker Bob Geldof, took a heroin overdose ten times bigger than the one that killed her mother Paula Yates in 2000.
Pixie has been gradually returning to the limelight
She was looking after Phaedra when she went alone to her bedroom on April 7 and injected the lethal dose.
Her musician husband Thomas returned to their £1million home in Wrotham, Kent, to find his wife slumped over her laptop, surrounded by drugs paraphernalia.
Pixie also runs FunkyOffish – a brand with clothing and jewellery.
