Post by Ricky Gervais.
Oh Ricky Gervais, trust you to win the England good luck message war – from your bath tub of all places.
The comedian posted an amusing video message on Facebook with his face half submerged in the water and putting on a comical voice – just for the boys in white.
He captioned the message: "COME ON ENGLAND!!!!!"
In it, the bearded star says: "Come on England, footballers’ team, score some goals tonight. I likes it when they does that. It makes me feel happy, for a while. And then back to wishing for sweet death release."
Well, it started off well.
But despite the depressing end to that unique video, fans seem to love it and one wrote: "At this point, I’m pretty sure you live in your bathtub."
Another added: "Any chance you could find england winning the match tonight in your belly button please?xx."
He joins a stream of more celebrities leading the good luck messages on Twitter tonight, with many jumping on the #selfie4england bandwagon too.
