Halloween came early for Rita Ora when her fella punched a reveller at a glitzy showbiz party. Now that’s awkward.
The singer, 23, and her boyfriend Ricky Hil were both invited to photographer Mario Testino’s 60th birthday bash at Chiltern Firehouse on Wednesday night.
But wild child Ricky lashed out at a fellow punter who tried to start a fight with him. Maybe it was because of his frightful green barnet.
Security tried to intervene but Ricky, 24, wayward son of American fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, briefly left the swanky Central London hotspot so the situation didn’t escalate.
Bust-up: Rita and Ricky leave the party
One partygoer said: “Rita and Ricky were both invited and welcomed by Mario to his birthday bash.
“But someone inside Chiltern started squaring up to Ricky and giving him a hard time. The guy was hurling abuse at him so Ricky punched him.
“Rita wasn’t with him when it happened and had nothing to do with it. Ricky then briefly left the venue so it didn’t turn into a full-blown fight and returned when the man left. It was all a bit embarrassing.”
Rita and Ricky started dating in July after she split from DJ Calvin Harris, 30. Rapper Ricky was born in Connecticut as Richard Hilfiger and describes himself on his music website as “a young, tatted, white guy with a rebellious lifestyle”.
He’s had a few scrapes with the law in the past including an arrest for cannabis possession in 2010.
And Ricky also has interesting taste in music. To date he has released 18 mix-tapes, with the most successful being his most recent offering, Support Your Local Drug Dealer (SYLDD).

Star turn: Kylie performed at the party
As Ricky took a breather after the punch-up, Kylie Minogue was entertaining the guests inside. And Chiltern owner Andre Balazs, 57, was said to be delighted that he finally managed to get the Aussie singer, 46, on stage.
A source says: “Andre had been trying to get Kylie to perform at his place for a while now and is really into her.
“Kylie thinks he is quite cute too.”
Ooh, watch this space.
