Want to see Cara Delevingne and Pharrell Williams sing and dance together in a royal 19th century dream sequence? Obviously. And, thanks to the wondrously wacky mind of Karl Lagerfeld, we can. “Reincarnation,” the Kaiser’s latest film for Chanelwhich accompanies the brand’s annual Métiers dArt show, set this year in Salzburg, Austriais even more brilliantly bizarre and fantastical than we could have imagined.
We already knew that Pharrell and Cara were collaborating on the film to debut in December, but it’s finally coming to life, thanks to a new trailer and behind-the-scenes look courtesy of WWD. And as for that very important questionwhether the duo will be making music togetherthe answer is a resounding YES! The short movie’s soundtrack is a duet entitled “CC the World,” written by Pharrell, and performed by both. Get the first look (and listen!) below:
