Moda Operandi just lost yet another executive: Chief Marketing Officer Ashley Bryan is heading to jeweler Ippolita to serve the same role.

Bryan has been at Moda Operandi since November 2011; she will start as CMO of Ippolita at the end of the month. The upscale jewelry brand hopes that her presence will help increase its online sales, which according to WWD currently hover around 5 percent of total sales.

Bryan is the latest in a chain of notable departures from the luxury retail startup. Both Elizabeth Cordry, director of product, and Indre Rockefeller, general merchandise manager and creative director of trunk shows, left last month. Creative Director Taylor Tomasi Hill and CEO Aslaug Magnusdottir departed in 2013.

In other respects, the company seems to be doing well: It raised $20 million at the end of last year, following a 130 percent uptick in revenue, and launched its first mobile shopping app just before fashion week in February. The company also announced three key hires in merchandising last week: Mary Chiam, formerly of Net-a-Porter, now serves as vice president of merchandising; Elizabeth Morgan, formerly of Gucci, was appointed general merchandise manager of Moda Operandi’s boutique business; while Amalia Keramitsis was appointed director of fine jewelry and watches. Both report to Chiam.
